BITESIZE – Substance use brief intervention

This session will talk through how to initiate and hold conversations about substance use as well as how to further support those who want to make a change.

This free training will enable you to support those people you are working with by equipping you with up-to-date advice and information.

To know when to deliver BI and when to refer
To understand your role and the person who needs support’s role in BI
To explore how to deliver brief advice
To become familiar with a range of tools that can be used during BI
