Schools and Colleges Training

Our training team offer free drug and alcohol awareness sessions in schools and colleges with support from our Young People’s service. Our target audiences are:

Primary – Year 5 and 6

Secondary – Year 7-11

Colleges – Age 16+

Our preventative courses aim to raise about awareness around substance use.

We cross reference our sessions with PSHE guidelines, and each session
will differ dependent on year group. We offer a variety of workshops
which cover the following:

  • Nitrous Oxide awareness
  • Energy drink awareness
  • Risk taking behaviour
  • Peer pressure
  • Alcohol awareness
  • Cannabis awareness
  • Basic drug awareness

All of our awareness sessions are evidence based and compliant with NICE guidelines. Any
locality specific substance issues will be included in the session. We cross reference our workshops with public health education priorities.
